Parent Service Commitment
Parent involvement is an essential component of our school community. Time and expertise contributed by parents is much appreciated by the staff, your children, and the administration. We encourage all parents to participate as volunteers to build supportive relationships within the school community.
Families of enrolled students are required to fulfill a minimum 15-hour time commitment to our community per academic year. This time commitment can be fulfilled in many different ways. At the beginning of each school year, a volunteer opportunity form is circulated listing ways parents can be of help. You may also contact your child’s teacher for opportunities specific to that class. It is the parents’ responsibility to seek out opportunities and make contact with the room parent or teacher to schedule time in which you can volunteer.
If you are unable to complete this time commitment you may choose instead to pay a $25 per hour Parent Service Fee for unfulfilled hours.
